I think that written language would be most effective to explain to someone that the world is round, because then you could draw pictures and diagrams of the world. You could draw a world map as a sphere and make diagrams of the crust, mantle exc. of the different layers of the earth, and also do gravitational math problems to prove the existance of gravity. You could also make solar system diagrams, and charts thus proving that the other planets are spherical.

This would be more effective than telling someone or trying to act it out because then you could use math and diagrams to explain it to someone without trying to do an interpretive dance or just saying it because they could just ignore what you said because it could be false, like I could say, apples are blue, that doesn’t mean that you have to believe me, but if I showed you a chemical compound of an apple, that proves the apple is blue then you might believe me more.
